Many
books concerning the mode of ancient
civilization start with the description of Ancient Egypt’ clothing.
The resources say what coats people
of Stone Age were wearing and what they were interested in. We are
also able to know what modern clothes the tribes of Africa, Australia,
or Chili like in our days. It was a coat with
a large pocket in front spacious enough to carry a headphone, a pencil
and an exercise book, snacks, and other things. The researchers are
investigating various information – stone signs, kitchen’s
utilities, sculptures, things, made from wood and iron, – to

Say, there are differences in clothing of primitive people and modern people.
The primitive people were wearing the breechcloth made from plants, animals’ skins
as a coat, which were designed to keep
from cold or hot weather, injury or scratches, and so on. The leader had an opportunity
to color his body and choose the best clothing.
With the development of human society clothing has been changed
greatly. However we can judge a person due to his clothing, distinguishing man’s
status and position. For example, in Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece the clothing
that was made for slaves, just covered the slaves’ nakedness. And besides,
it saved them from cold weather. The fabric was very coarse and they were barefoot.
Free people were wearing the clothing of austere style due
to their position in the society. The quality and color of the fabric as well
as decoration and jewelries had severe restrictions. Everything must point to
power and position. Egypt pharaohs and notables were wearing thin and transparent
cloth like cotton or linen. As for hierophants, they wore a coat made
from leopard’s skin. My aunt would like to be one of the richest people
in order to wear such a coat.
